East Hemet is easy to miss on a map — it's unincorporated county land tucked between the Hemet city limits and Valle Vista — but it's a busy residential area, and East Hemet towing makes up a steady share of our week. Streets here are mostly quiet neighborhoods, small ranch lots, and mobile home parks, with Florida Ave and Stetson Ave carrying most of the traffic.
Nick's Towing San Jacinto is based a short drive north in San Jacinto. Whether you need a tow, a jump, or an old car hauled away, call (951) 355-4290.
County Streets, Not City Streets
Because East Hemet isn't part of the city, a few things work differently. Street lighting is thinner, some roads have dirt shoulders instead of curbs, and house numbers can be hard to read at night. When you call, a nearby cross street — Stetson Ave, Hemet St, or a park or church you can see — helps our driver find you faster than an address alone.
It also means that if a car is stranded on a county road or a vehicle is abandoned, the rules are not the same as inside Hemet. We'll tow your own car anywhere you ask, but we don't remove someone else's car from a public street without proper authorization.
What East Hemet Towing Calls Look Like
Most of our work here is residential. A car won't start in the driveway, a truck has a flat on the shoulder of Stetson Ave, or someone needs a non-running vehicle moved to a mechanic in Hemet. We handle a lot of flat tire changes and jump starts before anyone even talks about towing.
We also get calls on Florida Ave (SR-74) where it passes along the north side of East Hemet — fender-benders at signals and breakdowns from drivers heading to or from the mountains.
Hauling Away Cars That Have Overstayed
Larger lots in East Hemet tend to collect vehicles: the old work truck, a car a relative left behind, a project that never got finished. If it's taking up space and you have the title or proper paperwork, our junk car removal service can pick it up even if it doesn't run, has flat tires, or is missing parts.
We'll tell you up front what paperwork we need. Clear access helps — if the car is behind a fence or in a back corner of the lot, let us know so we bring the right winch line and dollies.
Waiting Safely on Darker Streets
Some East Hemet blocks have few streetlights, and a breakdown after dark can feel exposed. If you're near home, it's fine to go inside and wait; we'll call when we're a few minutes out. If you're on the road, stay in the car with the doors locked and your hazards on, and only step out when our truck is there and the driver has identified himself.
Turning on a porch light, opening the gate, or parking a second car with its headlights pointing at the vehicle helps our driver find you and load safely. It also makes the job quicker, which means you're back inside sooner.
Close to the Lake and the Rest of the Valley
From East Hemet, Diamond Valley Lake and its marina are just a few miles away, and weekend traffic with boat trailers rolls through the area. Light-duty pickups and SUVs pulling boats sometimes overheat or lose a trailer tire on the way, and we can tow the vehicle and help sort out the rest.
We're also in East Hemet on the way to plenty of other calls — Valle Vista to the east, downtown Hemet to the west — so a truck is often nearby. Arrival is typically within 30–45 minutes, depending on traffic.
Not sure what's wrong yet? We can drop the car at a shop in Hemet or San Jacinto so a mechanic can look at it first. There's no need to decide on major repairs while you're standing on the side of the road.
